Improvisation/Devising
FORUM THEATRE FOR TURNING POINT THEATRE COMPANY -
Improvised plays which involve the protagonist encountering a difficult situation. Members of the audience are invited to take over the role of the protagonist and demonstrate a better way to deal with the situation. Eva toured for 6 months, leading workshops using this technique, mostly with young people working, or studying to work, in medical and caring professions. She also led workshops of theatre sports and games involving improvisation and devising.
BARBIZON THEATRE SCHOOL -
This is the American version of London’s Lucy Clayton School. Eva taught drama and interpersonal skills (along with other subjects) to young female students, using improvisation and devising techniques.
DANMOLD THEATRE COMPANY -
Through improvisation and devising, Eva assisted in the development of ALL THAT LOVING STUFF and DON’T CALL US, WE’LL CALL YOU. Both plays had successful runs at the Chester Gateway and went on tour.
ROLEPLAY -
Roleplay work, assisting with staff management training. Also corporate entertainment - murder mystery evenings involving team building exercises for example - all involving improvisation and devising.
LAUGHLINES UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT -
Eva frequently works for this company as various characters for corporate events and entertainment, causing havoc as Sybil, and sometimes Polly, in FAWLTY TOWERS tributes, for example.
TRUE VIEW EVENTS -
Eva has worked regularly for several years for this company in corporate entertainment and bespoke team building activities and games, in the UK and abroad.
THEME TRADERS -
Eva has appeared in various guises (such as Madame Perpetua, a gypsy fortune teller) in corporate entertainment for this creative events and party planning company.
